Chalet painting

Painting a cottage is a distinct challenge compared to other types of exterior painting work.
For this chalet, we waited until June to begin work, so that the humidity and cool temperatures of the Laurentians wouldn't slow things down. Each step had to be carefully planned, as every surface rested on uneven ground.
All surfaces were then washed with TSP. After light sanding, we were finally able to paint the cedar siding, cornices and balconies of this magnificent chalet in Sainte-Hyppolyte.
