Painting a cottage is a distinct challenge compared to other types of exterior painting jobs.
For this cottage, we waited until June before starting, so that the humidity and coolness of the Laurentides would not slow down the work. We had to carefully plan out each step, as each surface rested on uneven ground.
All surfaces were then washed with TSP. After a light sanding, we were finally able to paint the cedar sidings, cornices and balconies of this magnificient Sainte-Hyppolyte cottage.
